ive tried to join but all the discord links are expired

They work for me: https://discord.com/invite/YVeXVhYH7M

It could be a vpn / region thing on your side - someone else below had a similar issue.

it still says the link is expired and i dont use a vpn. i joined before but left cause i was in way to many servers at the time so i dont know if that has anything to do with it.

I added a discord widget to the itch.io page for you. You’ll need to click to activate the embed first.

If that fails, you can try the link from the website or from inside the App itself. But they’re all the same link and they’re all active links.

I totally miss understood and thought it had an android version. Noooo. This would be so good on Android

Your discord links are all dead, could use new ones.

The YDKE to clipboard feature is insane!! You have been putting up CRAZY updates ever since the project started! Good job! I hope you are doing well.

❤️

Are there any plans to port this to mobile at any point?

(+1)

The UI was designed only with desktop in mind (lots of very small buttons), and the game is best played over voice chat, so it wouldn’t be a great experience were it to be ported to mobile. Sorry!

Plus DuelingBook (the framework they use for dueling) notoriously doesn't run well on mobile.

(+3)(-1)

Since you duel using Dueling Book, would it ever be possible to use custom cards on DB?

(1 edit) (+4)

Customs are a planned feature, along with rush cards and tag duels.

(+3)(-4)

I never think Yugioh can be an indie game. The logic should be extremely complicated!

(+6)(-3)

Why do you leave all the campaigns on discord? Some of my friends and I do not want to join some random discord server to have fun in this game.

(+3)(-1)

Copyright is a thing (sadly)

(+6)(-1)

Dang I was pretty excited when I saw a video for this pop up on my feed and damn near expected the Yugioh equivalent of Pokerogue to consume my free time, but it being locked to multiplayer completely killed it for me ;-; Seems cool for people who have a friend group for it though, I've seen some youtubers essentially recreate this concept themselves before and it looked fun

(+2)

well you can play with the people in the server, at least is something

Hey, for some Reason all the Invitation Links to the Discord Server seem to not work anymore (at Least for me). Does anybody know why and how i can gain access?

Thank you, a VPN worked for me :)

The project seems promising so far! Is there any reason why the campaigns are locked inside a discord server? It may seem small, but it's quite an annoyance to go through, even if only one person need to enter and then redistribute it to their friends. It does make everyone less likely to give it a try.

(+2)(-1)

I think it's because of copyrighted materials? considering the packs and icons and especially the cardlists with all of the names are all owned by konami and you don't want the itch release taken down.

Annoying, but required for the longevity of the project!

(1 edit) (+1)(-1)

I just checked all the folders on a new download to confirm and that seems to be the case! I forgot about it until now, but I think it was 2016 when YGOPRO went down for a similar reason, right?

(+10)

Any plans to make a Single Player Mode in the future? I love the idea of a Yugioh Roguelite deckbuilder but i dislike Multiplayer quite a bit.

(+1)(-4)

Sorry, there are no plans for a single player mode.

Damn that's no fun

(+1)(-1)

I would love to see a multiplayer version, where players take turns vs the DM or vs themselves, something for long play would be coo

(1 edit) (+3)

It’s currently a 2-player game! :) If you mean tag duels, it’s quite doable and may be in a future update.

(+1)

Would it be possible to make custom cubes or custom packs in the future to play with friends?

(+1)

Pretty sure thats possible right now, its just not that easy from what ive seen. There's Documentation on it on the Discord.

(+2)

Yes! You can ask in the Discord for more information. It can get quite involved if you are planning many complex features in your own campaigns, but a simple cube draft is very easy to make.

loving this!
is there an estimated timeline for future campaigns? would love more stuff like the duel terminal and just more cubes to draft in general!
regardless great stuff so far

Next up is GX: Duel Academy. Aiming for the 25th but i’m not sure how achievable that will be.

The discord link doesn't work for me it says it is expired or i don't have the permission to join

The links on this page all seem to work. Or you can join here: https://discord.com/invite/YVeXVhYH7M

Still not working. Is it maybe a region block thing because I live in europe?

yup was a region thing used a vpn and then it worked

Didnt even know that was a thing. Im from Germany and could joing fine from here. Classic Discord crust i guess.

(+1)

are there any plans to make it not dueling book focused and more automated like edopro?

It’s not out of the question, but it would be in the very distant future if it were to happen.

are there any plans for a future mobile client? i'd love to play this with my gf but we live together and share a single computer >^<

(1 edit)

There are no plans for a mobile version of the game at the moment, sorry!

"The procedure entry point DiscardVirtualMemory could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.DLL." I am on Windows 7, how can i solve this issue?

(1 edit) (+4)(-1)

Unfortunately, windows 7 stopped being supported by most things quite some time ago. I would strongly suggest upgrading to a modern operating system.
